If you missed the last blog post, I spent the first week of February in Florida filming some crazy cars (which still have yet to come out but don't worry, they're coming!). Now I'm back in Chicagoland, and work keeps going! Filming has been alright, weather has been hit or miss. Today I had the windows down, but last weekend my hands got worryingly numb while filming in single digit temps.
On a positive note, the dealerships I work with seem to have more and more cars each week. We are still far from being back to "normal", but the lots look less depressing than before. Hopefully this upward trend continues!
With all that being said, I will list my recently filmed cars down below that you will see in the first two weeks of March. I also will be releasing my 2nd mini-doc this Friday, February 18th, that talks about Quartz clocks and why they were so prominent in the late 70s early 80s cars. I have also finalized the script for my 3rd installment of my mini-docs which I am excited to start putting together. It has to do with lights, but more on that in a later post!
Here's what I have filmed recently, and what you'll see on the channel in early March!
2013 Scion FR-S (3/3)
2007 Hyundai Veracruz (3/4)
2010 Toyota Tacoma Manual (3/7)
2011 Scion tC (3/8)
2022 Kia Forte GT Manual (3/9)
2001 Toyota Avalon XL (3/10)
2022 GMC Sierra Elevation Diesel (3/11)
2022 Kia Forte GT2 (3/16)
I also filmed a 2022 Kia EV6, but I pushed that one live SAME DAY to get ahead of the curve since I was one of the first independent reviewers to drive the car!
